• Deskripsi Lagu : Bad Apples
Album ini menandai perubahan gaya musik yang dimainkan GN'R. Mereka memasukkan pengaruh musik blues , klasik, dan country. Misalnya, Axl Rose bermain piano dalam beberapa lagu salasatunya dalam lagu Bad Apples.
Album "Use Your Illusion" merupakan titik balik gema band Guns N' Roses. Meskipun tidak meninggalkan kecenderungan unsur hard rock mereka seperti dalam album pertama mereka "Appetite for Destruction". Use Your Illusion I untuk pertama kalinya menunjukkan unsur-unsur musik country blues dan klasik. Misalnya, Axl Rose bermain piano di beberapa lagu dari kedua album. Use Your Illusion I berisi 2 dari 3 lagu, video ketiga lagu tersebut biasanya disebut oleh fans mereka sebagai trilogi.
Banyak lagu di album ini ditulis pada tahun-tahun awal band ini terbentuk, namun tidak dimasukkan dalam Appetite for Destruction seperti "Bad Apples" Hal menarik yang lain di Use Your Illusion I adalah lagu-lagu lama. "November Rain" dengan durasi hampir sembilan menit, mencatatkan rekor Guinness untuk lagu terpanjang di US chart serta lagu "Coma" yang berdurasi lebih dari 10 menit.
